The Kansas Restaurant and Hospitality Association is, by far, the most valuable resource we have to protect and grow our business in the state of Kansas. The Kansas Student Invitational is at the top of my list of benefits brought to us by the KRHA. The opportunity to get the next generation of operators involved at the high school level is invaluable. The KRHA also fights for the right of the business owner and the industry on a daily basis. I strongly recommend membership in the KS Restaurant and Hospitality Association. In my current role with Parrish Hotel Corporation, I have had many opportunities to work with KRHA. Some of these opportunities presented themselves because KRHA was addressing an issue that was threatening our industry. Other opportunities arose from my need for help in the staff training & development area, and KRHA was there to help. KHRA has assisted my organization with ServSafe Alcohol Training, and VIP training – a session for line level personnel that strengthens their customer service aptitude. We also utilize the KRHA Self-Insurance Fund for Workers Compensation coverage. We work hand in hand to improve safety at the properties and handle claims to control losses. I also really appreciate the regular e-newsletter that helps me keep up with what’s going on in the industry. In summary, membership in KRHA provides numerous tools that help our organization operate effectively and stay in touch with what’s going on in our industry. I think that KRHA has a great array of member benefits available and is eager to help their members and industry be successful.

Sandra and I have been members of the Kansas Restaurant and Hospitality Association for over 40 years and have enjoyed the interaction with other members. The professionalism of the KRHA staff has grown over the years and there is a vast knowledge at the state level to help restaurateurs in every aspect of running a restaurant. We have had great experiences participating in the many activities offered through the association. Taco Casa is a member of the insurance programs and the benefits are very rewarding. As members of the state association board, we have had the opportunity to participate in the growth of the KRHA. The KRHA offers numerous benefits to industry members. Two of those are work comp insurance and property & casualty business insurance. These areas can be confusing and having the association working in my best interest gives me peace of mind that I am paying the lowest possible rates and that my business has adequate coverage. A statewide health insurance group is another great benefit. The KRHA also very active in political action issues that benefit everyone in our industry. Wouldn't now be a good time to join this great association?
